Service Department
Our service department is set up and organised to help you get the best use and performance from your IL instruments.
We have 13 fully trained field service engineers strategically located throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to ensure that we can have a service engineer, if required, on site within 8 working hours. In house we have a newly designed and constructed state of the art service workshop that allows us to repair and test systems that are returned to us for rectification.
We also have dedicated IT engineers reflecting the fact that modern instruments are increasingly reliant on sophisticated software for their operation, They can also assist you with the interfacing of instruments to host computer systems.
Our Service Co-ordinator who notifies the relevant engineer of your service call and the details of the problem handles your calls to the Service Department. The engineer will call you to advise of his estimated time of arrival. The help desk is manned each working day by one of our field service engineers, fully trained in all our products to help with those problems simply requiring a little expert guidance

A service designed to help you resolve problems such as alarm flags, stoppage of the analytical system or if you need help in operating the system.
How can you help us to be more effective?
- Advise us of any error codes and give a brief description of the problem.
- Carry out the procedures that our in-house engineer or support specialist will ask you to follow.
This will either enable you to resolve the problem or, if a service visit is required, we can give the service engineer full information relating to the fault and if parts are required that are not normally in his car stock they can be ordered to arrive to coincide with his visit.
